Fort Maps

To show the development of the Victorian fortifications a number of highly detailed maps have been developed showing the forts and batteries that were around or being considered at a given point in time. The sites are colour coded to show different statuses:

  • Planned
  • Under construction
  • Completed and in use
  • Disarmed
