PAV Events Programme

The Portsdown Artillery Volunteers will fire a varied selection of Victorian ordnance during 2018 as well as a few static events at some other Palmerston era fortifications. The gap in the summer programme of firings is due to the arrival at Fort Nelson of the "poppy wave".

The gun firings will take place at Fort Nelson (in cooperation with Royal Armouries) the programme of events for 2018 have been confirmed. Please note - actual firing times may vary on the day.

In most cases the Fort Nelson firings may be watched free of charge but for special events a small entrance fee may be charged - check the Royal Armouries website for details and timings.
